Sandalwood is a valuable hardwood species belonging to the genus legume (also known as Sandalwood). It is more widely known in the market as "red acid branch", this common name reflects the color characteristics of its wood and category. Cochin Rosewood is mainly distributed in several countries on the Indo-China Peninsula, including Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Thailand, among which the Laotian cochin rosewood is especially respected and considered to be of high quality.
Documents required for import:
Certificate of origin, Plant Planting Certificate, Fumigation Certificate, code list, packing list, commercial invoice, trade contract, ocean bill of Lading.
Cochinchinia rosewood belongs to rosewood, and species import license is required; endangered wood requires endangered species certificate; CITES ocean bill of lading from abroad is required. The consignee is your company, please provide the order of exchange and endorsement of the bill of lading.
PS: If you do not know the exact name of the imported wood, you need to provide the Latin name of the wood to confirm the wood species (all wood has only one Latin name). There are many common names for the same kind of wood in China, and even the same common name should have several different kinds of wood, and the import declaration price (customs review price) of different wood is different.
